[ The camera feed starts off a bit shaky. Inexperienced paws are handling the device, Katara's Riolu, Arnook. Oh hey look, there's Katara! Rolling backwards on... uh... her... roller blades...

Shouting out a panicked-- ]

Whoah, whoah, whoah! Wrong way, wrong way!

[ And then she's gone again, but you'll definitely hear a sound like someone crashing into bushes, followed by a very loud-- ]

Ow! Augh-- stupid--! Why can't I get this right?!

[ Annnnd then the feed whips around to show Katara in her Ace trainer attire and roller blades trying to get UNSTUCK from the bush she just landed in... backwards. There's a lot of snickering from the other side of the gear.

It seemed like a good idea at the time to FINALLY test out her roller blades, but... ]

[ Oh, oh, oh, BUT WAIT. Katara has noticed the snickering! ] Arnook?! Were you recording me?! TURN THAT-- [ STATIC. ]

I freeze water into a board or platform of ice and use that to ride on the water. They do something like that in Olivine, but they call it surfboarding.

[ ... Ugh. She can't believe she missed you. Even a tiny bit. Even just because. And she's going to call you out on that, actually, because what are not-bitchy comebacks? ]

Well back home I can, I can't really do it here. If our powers worked here in Johto and Kanto, though, I'd just use my waterbending and freeze water into the shape and size I needed.

Bitey's still gotta learn who's boss, but the little runt's gettin' there. Only bit me three times today.

I figure lettin' him run around and fight everything that moves is helpin' him get some of the aggression outta his system.

More or less. Not like either of us is gonna complain though. Bitey gets to wreck stuff, and for some reason there's geeks who'll even pay me for beating 'em. Sounds like a win/win to me.

Honestly I've actually had them since the last time I was here, but I never learned to use them. The place and time were never really right. [Looking at them with a little bit of a smile.] It seemed like a waste not to at least give them a try.

You can get better with practice. That is what I believe. I have seen many people from back home who enjoy it immensely. I can ... ice skate, but I am not sure if it is similar to rollerblading ...

... though it does seem a little similar. Sadly, I can't be of any help now ... but if you wish to learn to ice skate, I would be very happy to teach you.

You mean the trainers? Just be careful. If you lose you have to pay them, too.
