[Oh hi, are you just tuning in? Arnook and Nari are recording together this time, from up pretty high in a tree it looks like, but it's serious business. From their spot up in the tree they've-- and thus the network --got a good view and Officer Jenny can't order Katara to put her back in her ball-- YET. Arnook turns the gear on Nari and she immediately begins to gesticulate.]

Pikapii! Pikachu! ("Robin! Wally! You've got to get down here, Katara is in trouble! Bats, Big Barda, Jack! Are you there? Get your trainers!")

[Arnook cuts the feed and hands the gear off to Nari just as a distraught, frustrated, and confused Katara is being put in handcuffs.]

(ooc: Katara's replies will be coming later from inside the cell, once Nari and Arnook sneak it in through the window ~~or something~~. Action for anyone in Ecruteak (I think?) who wants to come troll or help.

EDIT: And stealthy jail break is happening later, so no need to worry about her getting out!)

so what did they get you on?

[Sighs, because she'd hoped they might be understanding about this but--] I started work the day that Danny was attacked, so apparently I didn't stay long enough and they counted that as ditching. I guess because they couldn't find me that... aggravated the charge.

[A pause, then she adds.]

and I... MIGHT have told them how stupid I thought that was. [Can you FEEL her cringing? Cause she is.]

[Yeah, see, normally he'd go for video, but as somebody who's spent a lot of time behind bars? There's no way he's going to risk Katara getting her Pokégear confiscated as contraband. If the cops haven't taken it away yet, it's their own stupid fault.]

[It takes Robin a while before he can respond, looking more than just a little pissed off.]

I don't think that would matter, I think they're just NPC's, like that "mother" woman in New Bark Town. You know, stuck on one routine.

[Switching to text because she doesn't want them to take her gear away too. Nari snuck it in as it is.]

[Not gonna say why or when she abandoned it.]

Not that I'm incapable of breaking rules, but this time I didn't do it on purpose.

I'm alright, Robin. [Not going to say anything about being shaken up because he looks mad enough already.] It's actually not the first time I've been locked up, but probably the most pleasant of the experiences. Well according to what I've seen on the network before this whole world is based on some kind of electronic game for kids to start with. I don't know if this place is even actually supposed to be real.

Eh, nobody's perfect. Maybe if you try harder next time, you can get busted on purpose.

It's alright, Danny, but thanks for offering. I'm not sure if they're even offering bail. But would you mind letting Robin and Wally know I'm here, in case they missed the post before? I don't want them to worry.

Unless it's staging another prison break I have no intention of getting arrested on purpose again. [Okay, she's obviously either bored or just glad for some "company", so, she's not going to completely discourage this idea. He'll probably think the reasons are dull anyway.]
