[ Katara sounds tired. and yet eager as she comes onto the feed. Jet is pretty tired too, but he had been more than willing to push themselves to cut as much time off the journey as possible, for which Katara is grateful. It's Carla operating the gear from her seat on Jet's back as Katara hurries the last few feet into the familiar town, looking around eagerly. ]

I wonder if he's made it yet. Carla, hand me my-- [ Turning mid-sentence, why hello! I see you are already busy filming! Well then! ] Carla! A little warning, next time? [ She looks embarrassed, reaching up to try smoothing her windswept hair back down, approaching the two. The embarrassment doesn't last. Despite looking tired and travel worn her smile is pretty brilliant. ]

Sokka, I just got into town. You're here, right? [ ~~Tell her you're still here.~~. ]

Winry, Ed, Alphonse, we made it to Cherrygrove just fine. We'll head back to Violet once everyone's had a chance to rest You can call me if you need anything, though!

[ She ends the feed there. ]

[ About ten minutes later Katara is back on the feed (controlling the gear herself this time) sending Ed a private message. She looks conflicted, confused and sad. She's been to the Center and checked her box to get Fluffy and Naila out-- and...

See this Eevee? Look familiar? ]

I just found Jules in my box... I guess Charlotte's gone home. I figured you'd want to know too, since he did belong to Alfons, originally. [ She's reassuring the little Eevee, then sighs. So many friends in one week, but at least Sokka's back now. Tired smile. ] Think you guys mind sticking around Violet long enough for us to come back? I'd really like for you three to meet Sokka in person.

Let me know, Ed. [ Feed ends again. ]

[ Just the happy laugh, ahhh she missed that quirky humor and come-and-go ego. She's not the only one that missed him, though, so-- wiping her eyes with the heel of her hand. ]

Come on. To be fair I'm not the only one that's missed you.

[ There's a beach (sort of) not far off. That should give them plenty of room for introductions. ]

Wha? You didn't say anything about Aang or Toph or-- I mean--the possible other people...

[ Slight cringe, getting his hopes up. Bad. ]

[ She takes out two Pokeballs to show him with a small, sheepish smile. ]

Naila was your starter Pokemon the last time you came, and Fluffy was part of your team. [ Zuko had ~~Fatherlord~~ ~~Ozaisheep~~ Mareep but after he left I'm not sure where he went. ]

Wow. Um.

[He shrugs helplessly.]

I'll be happy to meet them. I mean. Fluffy and Naila are cool names. I just hope they're not--y'know, too disappointed.

Of course they won't! You're still their trainer. They'll just be glad to see you again. I've only been taking care of them until you came back.

[ She lets Fluffy out first, because he's the smaller of the two-- once they've made the short walk.

The Empoleon lets out a loud, almost shrill cry at seeing his trainer again. HUGS HUGS HUGS? ]

Though you might decide to rename him. He's not so fluffy anymore.

[...no. No he will not.]

Are you kidding? Fluffy's the perfect name! Lookit how sweet he is, he goes right for the hug because he's a precious little Fluffy-wuffy, aren't you? Aren't you?

[Sokka bearhugs the giant penguin, because hey, if it hugs him, it can't be bad!]

This almost makes up for Hawky!

[ It's a touching reunion, she's really happy for them, too. They'd been pretty upset when Sokka went missing before. The show is kind of funny though, and she can't help but smile. ]

Okay, that is pretty adorable.

[ Oh sna-- haha... Hawky... ]

We said sorry. [ Just a little sigh and tolerant and apologetic (how do you do that at the same time?) look. ]

[ Oh well. Naila's turn.

And of course THIS ONE kinda lets out a roar because... sorry but Gyarados' don't really TALK. Katara places a hand against her side with a smile. ]

And this is Naila! She didn't really have a nickname before, so I gave her one.

No, I like that name, too. It's good. Hey, Naila--

[Sokka reaches out a tentative hand, to stroke her-- is that a snout? Is that a snout?

Whatever it is, she growls and nuzzles his palm--leaving Sokka with one arm of penguin, one arm of serpent, and one armful of Poly-Rolls--though that rested on his shoulder, not his arm.]

You all--you were good for Katara, right? We'll get along okay, right?

Very good. They helped me win all of my badges. [ She's very happy to be able to return them to their rightful trainer, though. It makes her happy to see you all together! ]

Yeah? So, hey, if I go for badge-winning, they can all three help, yeah? Yeah?

[This is so cool. Appa, Momo, you's my bros but c'mon so cool.]

I declare this the official formation of TEAM SOKKA.

Katara, what d'you think?

I think it has a pretty good ring to it. [ Grinning, because man is it good to have you back. ] Once I get my badge in Cianwood I think it'll be a lot easier for us to travel between cities. At least if what Riku told me was right. It's lucky. [ She thinks back. ] It's taken me this long just to get three badges, with all the back and forth.
