[ Katara decided to bypass doing an "introduction" post this time. She already knows her way around Johto, intimately at that. Why she'd ended up back was anyone's guess, let alone hers. She's seen enough people come and go to know the drill, too.

None of her Pokemon were present? Check. Woke up back in "mom's" house? Yep. No badges, and stuck in New Bark Town? Yeah, she's starting from scratch.

So don't mind too much if her video (despite being late) is short.

It looks like Johto wasn't quite done with me yet.

[ Speaking of, the video feed is on the move! She seems to already be heading down Route twenty nine. She's been walking for a few hours already. YEP. She knows the drill, and the Piplup comfortably situated on her shoulder looks excited. WE GOT THIS, BROSIS. ]

New starter, no badges... I hope that everyone's alright. If anyone here ended up with my Pokemon, could you let me know? You don't have to return them if you don't want to, I'd just like to know if they're okay. [ Because there's a chance someone like ENVY got one. >B| ] It looks like I'm starting over again.

[ Discreetly shaky breath. She'd planned to call a few people by name but after several months she's more worried about the disappointment of NOT getting an answer. The names form but won't come out, so she's forced to recover quickly (Piplup's attention is definitely elsewhere still). ]

So I... I thought it would be easier to ask for anyone I know to contact me, if you're still here, so... [ And here she musters up her strength and puts on a smile like nothing in the world is wrong. ] Call me? I can't wait to hear from you guys again.

[ Seems like as good a place as any to end the feed, right? Right. ]

[To say the least, Wally was not expecting to wake up to this, and for a long while he just... stares at the screen in disbelief. Someone he knows actually came back. That means... well, that means maybe things will start to look up and it'll be like when almost his entire team showed up all in a row! It could happen... right?]

Anyway, you said something about your Pokémon? Jet found me after you left, which was kind of funny and kind of sad at the same time, given that conversation about jets we had... But yeah, if you want him back, that's totally cool. I'm sure he'd rather be back with his original trainer than being cooped up in storage.

Wally! Hi! I wasn't sure if you'd still be here. [ Awww man, SEE? HOPE PAYS OFF. Now if Heiji, Sokka, Robin, and some of the others are still around that'll just make her day absolutely perfect! ]

Yeah, that is kind of ironic. Sorry for disappearing on you guys, But, are you sure? [ Of course he wouldn't be offering if he weren't, but you know, she doesn't want him or anyone else to think she's just going to horde them all back or something. ]

Robin, when he first checks his gear, scrolls through the feeds, just checking for familiar faces. When he sees her name, though, he kind of just...stares. But not for long! Because then he's pressing reply, eyes still a little wide.]

Katara? Is that seriously you?

Lacus! Hey! [ Bright smile. And a friendly wave from Piplup. ]

[ That's okay since things have probably changed! ]

[ Honestly, she's still not quite sure who to expect. She knows people have stayed for over a year, like Heather and Envy, but she's known more people that left than stayed. Just about every friend has gone at least once, so she's only able to bring herself to half hope for the best.

Robin, Wally, and Lacus? All definitely pleasant surprises. She can feel her spirits jump excitedly even more. She just offers an amused look. ]

Who else would I be, Robin? [ AMUSED. ]

[He's not going to be a brat and talk about how there have been people who come back and don't remember anything. Nope. He just shakes his head, almost in disbelief.]

Just a little whelmed to see you, really.

[But then he gets a little mini-Batman, serious look.]

Where did you go?

[ Uh oh? Serious business time? ]

Back home, I guess, but it wasn't for long, maybe a minute or two. [ "Your mother would be proud.", did she just reach up to touch her necklace? Yes she did. Not a single falter, though. ] I was only there long enough to meet up with dad and Sokka before I came back here... It looks like I've been gone for a while, though.

[Well, here's a face Envy didn't think he'd see again. And this is the second time recently that someone he knew returned remembering Johto. He wonders if that's becoming more common...it's actually a hopeful thought.]

[But that doesn't mean he's glad to see her...except that now he can troll her more and actually beat her in battle.]

Well, I'd ask if you were looking for a response from me too, but somehow I doubt it.

[But you're getting one from him anyway!]

[ Pfft. She'll never admit it, but she's actually just... a little bit happy to see you ~~just wait till she finds out Sokka's not here anymore though~~ since it means that there wasn't a total mass exodus of people she knows while she was gone. ]

Yet here you are. [ Arches an eyebrow, but it doesn't have nearly as much bite or snark or smugness as it COULD so there's a marginal improvement. ] I guess this place hasn't gotten tired of you yet.

[He does notice that there's a little less snark than there was before, but he's not sure what to make of it.]

[ Mental sigh, she wishes she knew why. ] Well, that sounds about right. There've been a lot of people that have come and gone, sometimes they don't remember being gone, sometimes they don't remember being here. That's really the only reason I know what happened myself. I've seen it often enough. Sorry for disappearing without any warning, though.
