Misc. Notes: Even though Kishi has been returned to the team Nini and she get along pretty well. At first she was a little jealous, but once she realized Katara wasn't replacing her her envy faded away. Nini looks up to Kishi like a big sister. She does remain slightly competitive at times if only out of a desire to earn Kishi's respect. Sometimes this gets her into trouble, in over her head. She enjoys eating and has somewhat of a distracted attention span.

Misc. Notes: Kishi was Katara's starter Pokemon. The two are as close as sisters despite not being able to communicate verbally. Katara is protective and nurturing with Kishi. Because Kishi is large and cumbersome on land she only usually comes out for training or when they're relaxing where there's plenty of room for her. They usually can be found napping and sunning together on a beach or near water. She was very well behaved towards Heiji for the duration of her stay with him, and would listen to his commands if he returned and the need arose.

She might have a docile, gentle temperament but she's very protective over Katara and her companions and friends. She's also very affectionate to these people, nuzzling and nudging, and giving rides. Ever been treated to a Kishi kiss? Don't get too close unless you're itching to be.

Due to his time with Wally while Katara was gone he's willing to listen to Wally's commands or allow Wally or his companions use him for transport without burning them.

She spent some time with Youji, and seems to have become protective over Ariel since his disappearance from Johto.

She's a flirtatious little hotshot, neither ashamed nor afraid of charming her way into other's good graces, especially if there are apples to be had. Aside from Katara Nari would also listen to Robin if need be, due to her time on his team while Katara was gone.

Misc. Notes: Kaori is both timid and sweet. Since she doesn't seem to have a propensity for fighting Katara uses her primarily for travel and to help watch after the younger Pokemon. It's true of all of Katara's Pokemon that they're companions, but Kaori especially is more of a companion than a battler. She comforts others when they're down and gets excited when there's something to celebrate. Despite her more docile nature she's still protective of Katara, her team, and her friends.

Oh, also, don't try to threaten Heiji or anyone he's with. He's also been trained to scent-detect magician's tools, particularly the combination of magician's tools and disguise materials! Yes, Heiji trained a Kaitou Kid-tracking dog. Thanks to their visit to Olivine, Bas KNOWS that's the same scent he caught at the heist and that Kaito HAS to be Kid.

From the moment they first met, Wally knew that he and this little guy were going to get along. Just look at them, they match! It was obviously a match made in PokéHeaven. It seems he inherited Wally's occasional enjoyment of mischief, but to a much larger degree. Junior is quite frequently the cause of any embarrassing network posts, because he has taken it upon himself to record what he finds most entertaining--that, unfortunately for Wally, happens to be him, especially when he's doing something he really doesn't want to be recorded. Despite this, however, Wally and Junior maintain a very close trainer/Pokémon relationship, and, especially during battle, they seem to know what the other is thinking and can simply exchange nods and glances, although Wally still announces moves as a formality. Because of this strong bond, Wally was devastated when Junior was stolen by Team Rocket during the Magnet Train Heist. He went through a period of blaming Robin, but eventually convinced himself it wasn't Robin's fault, he was just keeping up appearances to prove his "loyalty" to the Rockets. Later, Robin unsuccessfully attempted to steal Junior back, but was caught and tortured for two weeks for being a mole. To this day, Team Rocket remains in possession of Junior, but Wally refuses to give up on his starter, determined to one day get him back.
