06 Water Whips .//. The end of the yellow brick road (Action Violet City)
[[Backdated to earlier in the evening.]]

[They've lost one more on the way to Violet City. It's like a bad ghost story. Every time she gets to know or meets up with someone they ended up disappearing sooner or later. She's pretty determined not to let it get her down, though. Rather, she'll go on and kick gym leader butt in their names, or something like that. Claire would probably approve in any event.]

Finally. [She sighs, looking around the town as they get past the main gate. The background music changing was the main indicator. It seems more tolerable than the route's song, maybe just because it's still new?] Let's find an inn or hotel, I am dying to get into a real bed tonight.

[Then training could follow up after some resting. Her team should be strong enough to take on the gym leader, but it was no easy feat given that the wild Pokemon gradually become weaker the stronger their own become. Who should she use against Falkner anyway? Flying types...]

[Ed is close behind Katara and Aurum's on his head.]

Me too.

[Giotto's disappearance certainly surprised Ed. He's still wondering if he was actually sent back to his home world or if he was sent to some other crazy world.

But now wasn't the time to think about that too much. They had their first gym to challenge, and the sooner they got some rest, the sooner they could do some last-minute training.]

It can't be too far away.

[Alfons is lagging behind them both--city boy isn't used to walking for a week straight to get anywhere, good God even he has a car back in Germany. Before Edward wrecked it, anyway.

He wondered if he'd ever get the chance to get Edward back for that...]

Near the Pokemon Center, maybe?

[Schatzi hasn't been too impressed by the long walk either--she's plodding along beside Alfons, the tips of her tails dragging along just above the grass.]

[Katara is glad they're all in agreement, exhaling softly.] Yeah, probably pretty close to it. [Agreeing with Al, having a look about. She's used to the walking but it's already enough sleeping on the ground WITHOUT the endless music. At least in an Inn there's a comfortable bed to make sleep a little bit easier.]

Do you guys want to get some training in after we rest and maybe eat?

[She heads towards the tell-tale red sign of the Center while giving a stretch.]

[Alfons shrugs.]

Alright. It may also be a good idea to ask about the Gym leader here, if we're going to challenge. What he uses and how strong they are.

[Better to do this right, after all.]

I was planning on training after some rest anyway. Though, asking around about the gym wouldn't hurt. Someone told me over the network that this guy uses flying Pokemon, but that's not really specific. I don't want to go in there just to get Aurum and Colonel beaten to a pulp.

Piiiiiii. [Aurum doesn't want that either, and Ed knows all too well what it's like to have your ass handed to you. As much as he yells at his Pokemon, he doesn't want the same thing to happen to them.

Ed starts walking towards the Pokemon Center. Having a hotel next to one would make the most sense. Besides, it looked like Aurum could use some rest there.]

This will be the official thread then?
[Katara just made for the doors of the hotel once it was in view. She mentioned the flying type the day they met in Cherrygrove, but Ed and Al had an excellent point. Flying type didn't mean they'd ONLY be flying types. They might be part... anything else, really.]

We probably would have better luck with people that might be getting ready to leave town.
