[It's been roughly seven days since Katara passed out into the vivid dreams haunting her sleep. To Katara it hadn't been all that long. She'd gone right back Appa's saddle with Zuko and everything proceeded from there as it was meant to, so she's understandably disoriented when she finally begins coming to.]

[Groaning softly, reaching up to touch the spot on her head that seems to ache as lax facial muscles flex to activity again. That would be the spot that got knocked on the way into the Center of course, not that she knows that.

She sits up in bed slowly, still rubbing her head.] Ow... what...?

[The gear picked up at that point and began recording, unknown to anyone in the room. It was one of the rooms reserved for the Center's human residents, meaning there was plenty of room for Lapras and Piplup at her bedside.]

[Ed comes back in to the Center to check on Katara, and lo and behold...]

Katara! You're awake!

Pichu!!

[Aurum come up to her and hops on the bed.]

[Looks up at the Nurse Joy and then Edward, who both just walked into the room. What happened anyway? Her memories were all jumbled up. It took some time to sort the dreams-- memories? --from the memories... or were they dreams too?

Right, Ed, and Alfons, she was traveling with them-- Giotto too, and Sokka before all of them till he disappeared This was Johto. The little one was Aurum.]

E... Ed...? What happened? [Why did he sound so relieved, how long was she out? How did she even GET here?]

You passed out, so Alfons and I carried you here. [He's going to conveniently leave out the part where he accidentally bumped her head on the doorway.]

You've been out for about a week.

[Aurum is looking at Katara with some concern. He tugs on her arm.]

Aurum, leave her alone.

[Oh, folks that knew Katara other than her travelling party noticed. In fact, when he'd seen her like that, all he could think of is how the girl and her lapras helped out during that bug attack. Thus, he's cracked a bit of a smile as the video comes on to her room. Out of courtesy, he taps on the pokegear mic twice.]

Just so you know, your gear's on. Glad to see you're okay, Kat.

[Her attention is diverted away from Ed, Aurum, Kishi, and nurse Joy when she hears muffled, slightly scratchy thumping and a voice. Her bag is occupying the bedside cart used for feeding temporary bed-ridden residents. Recognizing the voice and the face Katara plucks the gear free from the outside pocket and gives Mordecai a tired, but otherwise perfectly healthy (and dare I say burden-free) smile.] Hey, Mordecai. Thanks, and sorry for worrying you guys.

[She's a little surprised, but happy that apparently people DID worry about her while she was out cold all week. Ed and Alfons have apparently been looking after her ~~and knocking her head into doorways~~, so good of them!] And thanks for the heads up. Did I miss anything while I was asleep? How've you been?

Hey, don't sweat it. Everyone knows you'd worry about them like this if it happened to them, so it's only fair to give it back, right?

[A bit of a nod, punctuated by a 'hm. hm.'] People started showing up in New Bark again. I guess the hopes of "this place is sending EVERYONE home" weren't really true at all.

[That's true, earns a grateful smile still.]

You're right, I hadn't noticed, but we didn't get anyone new the week before, did we?

[She wonders if anyone from home showed up, but asking seems insensitive since she's not the only one hoping for that.

... but what if Ozai or Azula had shown up? Johto wouldn't, right? Ha ha. No.]
