[The feed comes on and the first thing noticeable is the hiss of steam. As it begins to clear there's a shot of Kishi and Jet facing off in an intense stare down. It seems like the two are fighting unsupervised until Katara's voice pipes up from off screen, not the least bit alarmed.]

Alright, Kishi, nice work! Jet, you've gotten so much stronger, and you were even at a type disadvantage! I'm proud of you both.

[She grins, happy, hearty, and perfectly healthy as one can see, patting Kishi affectionately on the broad side of her nose, then rubbing Jet's equestrian snout.]

[Yes, Katara is training her team outside of Violet City. The camera is actually being operated, however, by Poliwhirl. He loves to show off for the ladies but he also believes in giving credit where credit is due. His trainer and his team mates have been working hard to get ready to take on the first gym leader and since Katara's not the type to put this sort of video out there.

A large shadow suddenly looms up over the water bender, bearing down on her with a deafening roar and a wide, gaping mouth full of sharp teeth, and an angry looking glare.

Katara just turns to the Gyarados, smiling calmly as before.]

And you too of course, Naila. [BAM!

Have a Gyarados lying on it's side at your feet, Katara. ~~Yes. OF COURSE me too. Now give me rubsies.~~] Aww, does my big tough fighter want a belly rub?

Trainer obliges after a tolerable smirk, quite accustomed to spoiling her big jolly giant with attention after a hard training session. Well, Sokka's. Katara is doing her best to take good care of the two she's been charged with. Fluffy is already evolved, in fact, and quite happily settled off to the side with Poliwag and Pakku eating some berries and Pokemon food. It seems like just now that Katara finally notices that the gear is on.]

Poliwag, what are you-- Hey! You should warn me before you turn that thing on! [She just laughs, though, closing the distance between the two and then stooping down until she can sit comfortably. She takes the gear and lets the water type get comfortable in her lap.]

Hey guys! Sorry, he always seems to find a way to sneak this thing out when I'm not looking, I think he's starting to get better at working it than I am.

Poli!

[There's a short chuckle, she pats him on the head between the eyes and keeps going.]

Sorry for worrying you guys last week, I'm fine, as you can see for yourselves. GREAT, actually! Zuko, if you're watching this I need to talk to you later. I guess I might have to text you though, you never seem to be on at the same time that I am anymore.

If you'll excuse me though, guys, we could all do for a break. Later!

[There's one last glimpse of Katara's cheerful face and then the feed cuts off.]

You know what the nice thing about these gears is? I don't have to deal with you if I don't want to. I'm hanging up now!

[Azula's not liking this change in tone. Not one bit. You know something, Katara. And you're going to tell her what it is. Whether you like it or not. After the feed cuts, Azula switches to text to leave a message.]

Oh. Then I suppose that means you didn't know. I'm not surprised. The unimportant ones are always the last to find out.

[Right. She doesn't give up. Katara rolls her eyes and debates responding, glaring at her gear before relenting.

Just don't let her trick you into saying anything specific. Let's see if two can play this mind trick game.]

[She does sort of have the advantage of "magical" elemental abilities. Take those away and she doesn't have much.
